Feel better. Understand your health. Nourish your body.

Clinical nutrition for people who want more than another diet.

You don’t need another restrictive meal plan, a list of foods you’re not allowed to eat,

or someone telling you to simply “eat less and exercise more.”

You need to understand what your body is telling you and have a practical, personalised strategy to support it.

I’m Maryssa, a Clinical Nutritionist, and I help women make sense of the connection between nutrition, metabolism, hormones, gut health and everyday life.

Because good health isn’t about perfection.

It’s about creating a way of eating and living that works for you.

Maybe you’re here because…

You know something needs to change, but you’re not quite sure where to start.

Perhaps you’re:

Struggling with your weight
You’ve tried diets, increased your exercise and “eaten better”, but your body doesn’t seem to respond the way it used to.

Feeling exhausted, hungry or constantly craving something
Your energy, appetite and blood sugar seem to be all over the place.

Navigating hormonal changes
Your body feels different. Your weight, mood, sleep, appetite or energy have changed — and what used to work no longer does.

Experiencing digestive symptoms
Bloating, food sensitivities, irregularity or discomfort are making eating feel complicated.

Worried about your metabolic health
Perhaps you’ve been told your blood sugar, cholesterol, insulin or other markers aren’t where they should be.

Simply ready to look after yourself differently
You don’t have a diagnosis. You just know that you don’t feel your best — and you want to be proactive about your health.

You don’t have to wait until something is seriously wrong before you start paying attention.

Let’s look at the bigger picture.

Your body doesn’t operate in isolated systems.

Your nutrition can influence your blood sugar.
Your blood sugar can influence your energy and appetite.
Your gut health can influence digestion and nutrient availability.
Your hormones can influence your appetite, weight and wellbeing.
And your sleep, stress, movement and lifestyle all matter too.

That’s why I don’t believe in simply putting a bandaid over a symptom.

We look at the bigger picture.

Through personalised clinical nutrition, testing where appropriate and practical strategies that fit into your real life, we’ll work together to understand what your body needs, and why.

My approach is evidence-based, individualised and grounded in the belief that education is one of the most powerful tools I can give my patients.

Nutrition that works in real life.

Because knowing what you should eat is one thing.

Actually making it happen when you’re juggling work, children, family, study, appointments, social events and everything else life throws at you?

That’s another.

I want nutrition to feel simple, achievable and sustainable, not like another full-time job.

That’s why I’m passionate about helping my clients build practical skills around:

Wholefood nutrition
Learning how to nourish your body without becoming obsessed with food rules.

Metabolic health
Supporting healthy blood sugar regulation, appetite, energy and metabolic function.

Women’s health
Understanding how changing hormones and nutritional needs can influence how you feel.

Gut health
Looking beyond simply removing foods and understanding the bigger picture of digestive health.

Sustainable lifestyle change
Creating habits that work for your actual life, not an imaginary perfect version of it.

Hi, I’m Maryssa.

I’m a Clinical Nutritionist and mum of three,

and I believe nutrition should make your life better, not more complicated.

My own journey into clinical nutrition began with a desire to understand

the incredible relationship between what we eat,

how our bodies function and how we feel.

Since graduating, I’ve continued to expand my clinical knowledge and explore the complex relationship

between nutrition, metabolic health, gut health and women’s health.

But there’s something I’ve learned along the way:

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health.

What works beautifully for one person may not work for another.

That’s why I don’t believe in handing everyone the same diet and sending them on their way.

I want you to understand your body, understand your nutrition and ultimately feel confident making decisions about your health.

My goal isn’t to make you dependent on me.

It’s to give you the knowledge, tools and confidence to take ownership of your health.

The Healthy Fridge Method™

Your environment matters.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated, and sometimes the biggest changes start with what’s sitting inside your fridge.

The Healthy Fridge Method™ is my practical framework for creating a home environment that makes nutritious choices easier.

It’s about having the right foods visible, accessible and ready to turn into a balanced meal.

No complicated recipes.
No perfection.
No starting from scratch every night.

Just a practical approach to making healthy eating easier.
